Villa Rules

Details to keep Côté Ci Côté La in great shape

1. Housekeeping – we kindly request that you leave the villa in a reasonably tidy condition on check-out day. In the event that the villa is left in a less than ideal state, there may be an additional cleaning fee applied. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
2. Security – please lock all doors and windows on leaving the villa and set alarm system – directions are found here:
3. Air conditioners – we kindly ask that you turn off the air conditioning units when you leave the villa. Conserving energy is important to us all, and we appreciate your conscious effort in this regard. Additionally, please remember to close the bedroom units when the AC is on. Any missing AC remotes will be deducted from your damage deposit. Thank you for helping us create a more sustainable environment.
4. Towels & linens – to ensure that our towels and linens remain in excellent condition, we kindly request that guests ask for colored towels if needed – please take care with make up and hair colour. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
5. Propane BBQ grill – ABSOLUTELY no charcoals are to be used in the propane gas BBQ grill. Steel brush is provided to clean BBQ pit after use.
6. Ceramic stove top – to prevent damage, please take care especially when using large cast iron pots.
7. Washing machine & Dryer – Please refrain from placing sandy towels in the washing machine. Always remove lint from dryer before each use as this is a fire hazard. No bleach is allowed for villa linens or towels.
8. Water – Please be advised that dies to water scheduling, some areas get a supply 2-3 times per week. Please use water responsibly.
9. Batteries for TVs & Air conditioner remotes – To ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience, we kindly ask guests to avoid removing batteries from remotes, especially with universal remotes that require resetting if the batteries are removed. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in preventing any inconveniences during your stay.
10. Pool – For your safety and that of others, no glassware is permitted in the pool area – please use the unbreakable drinkware provided. The safety pool ring is for emergencies only. A pool attendant visits 2-3 times per week and a pool net is provided for random leaves that may blow into the pool. Use a towel on the lounge chairs to prevent staining of suntan/block lotion.
11. Furniture – Moving around villa furniture is not allowed.
12. Smoking – The villa is a smoke-free building. Ashtrays are provided outdoors – smoking indoors is not permitted.
13. Safe – a safe in the lower bedroom closet is provided for valuables. Please do not lock safe on departure as the code used by you will need to be reset by new guests.
14. Garbage – please take out garbage to designated bin on the corner AND refrain from placing broken glass in the indoor villa garbage cans.
15. Refundable damage deposit – we kindly ask that you inform us of any breakages or damages during your stay, as wear and tear are part of normal use and are taken into consideration. Any items that need to be replaced or repaired will be deducted from the damage deposit. Your cooperation and communication are greatly appreciated.
